The Diamond Dollar Ranch is located at 2285 Mountain Rd. In Alpharetta,
Georgia in the Furthest most portion of Fulton County approx. 25 miles north of
Atlanta. The Ranch property was originally purchased by the late Judge William
Daniel and his wife Jean Daniel. It was to be used as place away from the city
that the Judge could keep a few horses, ride, and some day retire to. Little did
they know that later would become sooner and they built a home on the property
and moved out of the city to enjoy the country life. Soon after moving to the
ranch the Judge bought a few Santa Gertrudis cattle from Texas and he was
hooked. Not knowing very much about these cattle Mrs. Jean was soon hooked by
the deep red rich color. It was hard to tell who loved these cattle more! Some
additional land was purchased in Calhoun , Ga. And a few more cattle were
purchased from around the nation providing a genetic basis for several of the
cattle that still remain top producers on the ranch today.
At the Diamond Dollar Ranch our motto is Quality not Quantity. We are
using all the tools available today including Ultrasound data and Carcass
information as well as Gene Star testing for Marbling and Tenderness in our Sale
Bulls. We use very strict visual evaluation and hard facts, including
disposition to select for the most favorable traits in all of our cattle. We
will continue to use artificial breeding as a tool to improve our seed stock and
replacements. We are proud to be Santa Gertrudis Breeders and will continue to
work hard to develop " The Cattleman's Kind". If you are in need of show
heifers, replacement females or your next herd sire please feel free to call the
ranch manager Dan Davis at 678 852 7301 or just come by the ranch we would love
to show you around. Please have a look below at some of our cattle below and if
you have any questions just give us a call. See Ya down the road!
Please contact Dan Davis at 678-852-7301 to
inquire about Diamond Dollar genetics.

Maximum Momentum our Sr. Herd Sire. He is an AI
son of
MC Momentum, A very strong past herd sire at MC Ranch. "Max" sets
all the
myths to rest in regards to a polled bull not having the Meat and
muscle to
pass on to there offspring. Max goes back to the Great "Scarlet" on
top and
on his dam side he is a grandson of the awesome polled bull " Polled
Sam".
We have been extremely pleased with Max as he passes the traits that
we look for in our cattle. His calves are dark, clean, packed full
of meat and mature early. Most of all these calves are Gentle! Max
is a low birth weight bull and his calves grow quickly. Have a look
at some of Max's offspring below and you be the judge.

Here is

Pictured here just off winter and having weaned her first calf at
645 lbs!
Star exhibits length , style ,correctness, and depth all in a
moderate "easy
keeping" package. She is a daughter of DDR Belle Y9/99 who is an AI
daughter
of Lazy E Ranch Bullet 6119. If your into numbers look at 6119's
epd's.
Stars sire is MC 155 Performer who is a grandson of Scarlett 24/9.
She is
now bred back to "Max" for her second calf that will be line bred CP
740. It

"Diamond
Dollar Belle"
Belle is another very strong polled female in our herd.
She consistently produces strong clean calves with tons
of breed character. Belle is an AI daughter of Lazy E
Bullet 6119. Take a look at 6119's e.p.d.'s and you will
see the production built right in to the pedigree. Belle
is a 99' model and she is for sure in the prime of her
calving years. We have kept several of her daughters in
our herd and the cross back to the CP 740 x Bullet 6119
has worked again and again. Belles July o6' calf is now
a Jr. Herd Sire at Kersey Colley Farms in Metter, Ga. We
know he will do them a good job! |

Louisville KY. this June for there first National Jr.
Heifer Show . Carson Davis will be at the stick on Holly
and Zach Bull will be at the halter on Molly. They
should both do well and we are considering selling a
pick of the twins at the 08' Mt Laurel Classic Sale in
Calhoun on November the 8th. Thanks for having a look at
the girls, we are very proud of them and our Jr's. Good

Eva"
Eva is an Own daughter of 4/4 out of Maximum Momentum.
She is super clean, gentle and is a real milker. Many
times a class winner and correct in every way. Long and
Feminine describe this one of a kind female and she will
be our offering at the 2008 Mt Laurel Classic Sale on
November 8th, in Calhoun Ga. We have been line
breeding Eva Back with "Max" and this line breeding has
worked extremely well over the past three years and she
is due to calve here in May to DDR Bullet who is a
Grandson of Lazy E Bullet 6119( son of Max) a bull with
with Awesome e.p.d's, after having natural twin heifer
calves last year in June. Like her mother 4/4 picked up
30 days this year. She has kept her form year after year
and is the true meaning of production. Sorry about the
Bad photo I will replace with another one more
recent soon. Thanks for having a look at DDR Eva. |
